Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare seeks a registered nurse to provide high-quality medical and behavioral health nursing care in a correctional setting. You will assess and plan care, administer prescribed treatments, and collaborate with practitioners to ensure timely delivery of services.

Responsibilities include triaging, recording vitals, maintaining infection control, and ensuring accurate documentation in the patient records.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where services are provided.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice and patient safety.
• Ability to coordinate care and communicate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care for inmates.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Record vital signs, glucose checks, and other metrics accurately.
• Maintain infection control and HIPAA practices throughout shifts.
