Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare is seeking a registered nurse to deliver timely, high‑quality care in a correctional facility setting. You will assess patients, administer medications, and coordinate care with practitioners and other healthcare staff.

You will maintain HIPAA compliance, ensure accurate documentation, provide patient education, and contribute to CQI reporting while supporting safety and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state in which services are to be provided, in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medication, treatments and other tasks as ordered by the practitioner.
• Triage officer intake screenings for necessity and priority at sick call.
• Record data for statistical reporting and CQI purposes.
• Maintain infection control precautions and aseptic technique.
• Oversee and delegate duties within the RN scope of practice.
