Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of service.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Contact practitioner to obtain orders and administer treatments.
• Provide emergency first aid and monitor vital signs on-site.
• Coordinate multiple medical services as directed by the practitioner.
• Maintain infection control procedures and pharmacology knowledge.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• May cover shifts at multiple facilities as needed.
