Job summary

The NC Department of Adult Correction is seeking a Food Service Supervisor II to supervise correctional food service staff and offenders engaged in large-scale production at a multi-level custody prison facility. You will ensure meals are prepared and served safely, manage food procurement, and uphold sanitation standards.

Reporting to the Correctional Food Service Manager III, you will work with a team to adjust menus and schedules while maintaining compliance with policies and post orders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and nutrient guidelines.
• Experience supervising staff and offender workers in food service.
• Ability to plan menus and manage inventory for large-scale operations.
• Familiarity with food procurement, storage, and record keeping.
