State of South Carolina is seeking a qualified professional to administer tests and conduct interviews for vocational and treatment assessments within the Department of Corrections. The role includes inmate orientation, intake explanations, and data entry into assessment systems.

The incumbent will review records, generate referrals, and coordinate with internal and external contacts, with emphasis on accurate documentation and adherence to procedures.

Qualificações

• A high school diploma and related experience. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required related experience.
• A bachelor’s degree.
• An associate's degree and any one (1) year combination of administrative and/or correctional experience.
• A high school diploma and any two (2) years combination of administrative and/or correctional experience.

Responsabilidades

• Administers group/selected individual tests and conducts interviews to determine vocational and treatment information.
• Refer inmates for additional assessment.
• Provide orientation from each inmate through video and verbal communication.
• Explain the intake process and provide an overview of the SCDC.
• Administer and evaluate group tests of intelligence, academic, achievement and substance abuse.
• Individually conduct the intake assessment interview on each inmate and enter CRT data.
• Generate referrals based on assessment data.
• Review inmate records for documentation and contact appropriate individuals/agencies.
• Obtain additional information when needed.
• Complete institutional assignment and add transfer requests to assigned institutions.
