Job summary

Anson Correctional Institution, a female facility, seeks a dedicated Correctional Case Manager (S) to supervise a caseload of offenders within a secure setting. This role emphasizes counseling, classification reviews, and program referrals, with regular one-on-one engagement.

Reporting to a Correctional Programs Supervisor, you will prepare reports, coordinate with staff, and perform crisis interventions when needed. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of case management practices or supportive counseling techniques.
• Interviewing techniques for intake assessments.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions with incarcerated individuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular classification reviews, needs assessments, and program referrals.
• Provide transitional information and housing recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with staff, offenders, and the public.
