Qualifications

• Two years custody experience acceptable with GED or high school diploma.
• Knowledge of assessment and intake procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular classification reviews and needs assessments.
• Provide transitional information and housing recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with staff, offenders, and the public.
• Handle stressful conditions and conduct crisis interventions, including suicide prevention.
• Prepare and review written reports reflecting data from multiple sources.
• May assist in other certified capacities as needed.
