This position reports to a Correctional Programs Supervisor at a multi-custody male correctional facility and provides case management services to an assigned caseload. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with State Benefits, working Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with one late night (12pm-9pm). Additional hours may be required.
Effective January 1, 2025, the salary range will be $35,984 - $62,971, following approved increases. Prior applicants remain under consideration.
The salary grade is NC07. Salary will be recalculated based on education, experience, funding, and internal equity, potentially resulting in a pay increase.
Established in 1884, it is the main facility for adult male felons sentenced to 20+ years, housing special populations including death row. Offers various offender work and activity programs.

Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Recreation or related field, OR High School/GED plus two years custody experience in NC Department of Adult Correction, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Must be eligible for certification by the NC Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.
