Job summary

EXOS in Camden, NJ, is seeking a Performance Coach for its corporate wellness center. You will guide clients through customized fitness programs, group classes, and one-on-one training to help people reach health goals.

The role emphasizes safety, exercise prescription, and client engagement, with opportunities to support incentive and promotion programs. You will work with a team to deliver exceptional fitness experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.
• Current certification from NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE is preferred.
• At least 6 months of industry experience, including relevant internships.
• Proven experience in leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing personality and strong customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise plans.
• Offer one-on-one consultations and motivation to help clients succeed.
• Assist with incentive programs, health promotion, and other duties to drive engagement.
