Job summary

EXOS is seeking a Performance Coach for our corporate wellness centers. You will lead group classes, assess clients, and tailor exercise plans to diverse populations, including high-risk individuals.

The role emphasizes safety, motivation, and client relationships to help participants reach their health goals. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Exercise Science, CPR/First Aid certification, and 6+ months of experience in fitness instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field.
• Certification from NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or ACE preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• At least 6 months of industry experience, including internships.
• Proven experience in leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for varying fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise plans.
• Offer one-on-one consultations and motivation to clients.
• Assist in implementing incentive, health promotion and specialty programs to drive engagement.
• Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
• Assist with other duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
