Legend Biotech in Bridgewater, NJ seeks an Associate General Counsel, Corporate & Transactions to lead the U.S. and EU contracting function and partner with business leaders on strategic transactions.

You will manage three direct reports, advise senior leadership, and support corporate governance, subsidiary management, and collaboration with Janssen in a fast-paced biotech environment. This role requires 10+ years of relevant legal experience, a U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant legal experience, including drafting, reviewing, revising and negotiating complex strategic transactions.
• Strong understanding of life sciences collaborations, licensing arrangements and other strategic transactions.
• Proven ability to advise senior leadership, the Board and other stakeholders across R&D, BD, Clinical, Medical, Commercial, Operations and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of complex strategic transactions and licensing agreements for business development.
• Serve as primary Legal point of contact for the Janssen collaboration and related BCMA program matters.
• Lead US and EU contracting function, supervise and develop three direct reports, oversee contract lifecycle management systems.
