Legend Biotech seeks an Associate General Counsel, Corporate & Transactions based in Bridgewater, NJ. This role leads US and EU contracting, negotiates complex strategic transactions, and serves as a senior legal partner to business leaders. You will manage the Janssen collaboration and oversee a small legal team.

The position offers a broad scope in corporate matters, governance, and intercompany work within a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant legal experience with complex strategic transactions in life sciences.
• Experience leading a contracting function and supervising direct reports.
• J.D. degree from an accredited US law school; NJ bar eligibility preferred.
• Ability to advise senior leadership including Board on governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review and negotiation of complex strategic transactions, especially BD and licensing.
• Be primary legal contact for Janssen collaboration, BCMA program, and related agreements.
• Direct US and EU contracting, policies, templates, and lifecycle management.
• Support GC on governance, subsidiaries, intercompany arrangements, and projects.
• Maintain records for US/EU subsidiaries and coordinate with tax and accounting.
