Job summary

A leading global biotechnology company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to partner with senior leadership across the organization. Reporting to the US Head of Legal, the role supports commercial, corporate, litigation and strategic matters while helping scale the function for a growing global business.

Responsibilities include leading review and negotiation of commercial agreements, managing litigation and investigations, advising cross-functional teams in the US and internationally, and

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of legal experience across law firm and in-house roles.
• Strong commercial contracting experience with the ability to support sophisticated transactions and due diligence.
• Prior experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or related industries.

• Manage litigation matters, internal investigations, employment-related disputes, and outside counsel relationships.

• Contribute to the development and expansion of the legal department, including potential oversight of junior legal professionals as the team grows

The Senior Corporate Counsel will serve as a key legal partner to senior leadership across the organization. Reporting directly to the US Head of Legal, this individual will support a broad range of commercial, corporate, litigation, and strategic business matters while helping scale the legal function alongside a growing global business.

• Lead the review, negotiation, and management of a wide range of commercial agreements while advising business stakeholders on transactional and operational matters.
• Manage litigation matters, internal investigations, employment-related disputes, and outside counsel relationships.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams across the U.S. and internationally to provide practical, risk-based legal advice.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of the legal department, including the potential to oversee junior legal professionals as the team grows
