Whitman Advisory Job Community in Roseland, NJ seeks a Corporate Mid-Level Transactional Attorney to join our Corporate Practice Group. This role focuses on sophisticated matters including M&A, joint ventures, real estate ventures, and equity and debt financing transactions.

The ideal candidate will own transactions from structuring through closing, work directly with clients and counterparties, and draft and negotiate a wide range of corporate agreements.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of corporate transactional experience at a law firm.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills across corporate agreements.
• Admission to the New Jersey or New York Bar is required.

Aufgaben

• Manage and lead a broad range of sophisticated corporate matters.
• Handle M&A, including buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Structure and negotiate joint ventures, including real estate JV.
• Advise on equity and debt financing transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate merger, stock and asset purchase agreements.
• Oversee transaction due diligence and risk assessment.
• Coordinate timelines and work with clients, counsel and advisors.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Contribute to growth of the corporate practice through client development.
