Job summary

L&W Recruiting, Inc. is assisting a long‑standing New Jersey law firm in Woodbridge to hire a corporate transactional attorney with 5+ years of M&A and private equity experience.

You will draft and negotiate deals from LOI to closing, conduct due diligence, manage closing checklists, and advise on governance and contracts while maintaining direct client and opposing counsel relationships. NJ bar admission is required; NY admission or transferable UBE is a plus; healthcare deal experience is a

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate transactional practice with M&A, private equity, diligence and closing experience.
• Admitted in New Jersey; New York admission or transferable UBE score is a plus.
• Healthcare deal experience is a strong plus.
• Writing samples may be requested by the firm.

The work:

• drafting and negotiating M&A agreements.
• Private equity transactions from letter of intent to closing.
• Due diligence and closing checklists that you own.
• Entity formation, governance and commercial contracts.
• Direct relationships with clients and opposing counsel.

Who fits:

• five or more years of corporate transactional practice with real M&A, private equity, diligence and closing experience.
• Admitted in New Jersey; New York admission or a transferable UBE score is a plus.

Pay:

• $155,000 to $170,000 base.
