Michels Corporation is seeking a Corporate Safety Manager to lead HSE programs, drive regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety across operations. You will oversee a team, set strategic safety goals, and ensure proactive incident investigation and remediation.

The role focuses on developing training, coordinating with leaders, and fostering safety accountability while supporting sustainability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, EHS, or OSH with 3–5 years of safety experience.
• OSHA 500 certification is required or strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable by Michels Review Team.
• CUSP/CHST or other HSE certifications (desired); root-cause investigation certification (desired).

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a team, including hiring, training, and developing employees; provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate HSE needs with department leaders across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and industry health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees, supervisors, and contractors.
• Ensure emergency response planning and preparedness training.
