Job summary

The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is seeking a Corporate Sales & Rentals Manager to drive revenue through corporate rentals, events, and partnerships. You will own the full rental sales process from inquiry to post-event follow-up, maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional experiences.

This in-person role requires entrepreneurial sales leadership, marketplace prospecting, strong contracts oversight, and on-site event management seven days a week with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in corporate sales, venue sales, hospitality sales, event sales, event management, or related field.
• Previousexperience drafting, negotiating, administering, and executing contracts is required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and close revenue-generating business.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate rentals and events from signed contract through completion.
• Develop comprehensive event plans and ensure details are communicated to all necessary departments and partners.
• Coordinate event logistics including venues, catering, AV, entertainment, and rentals.
