Job summary

Bank of Ann Arbor is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting across retail banking, operations, lending, and corporate functions. This role partners with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies, assess candidates, and deliver a high-touch candidate experience aligned with the Bank’s values.

You’ll source through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and career events, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and help with onboarding while ensuring

Qualifications

• Five+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities.
• Strong interviewing, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and MS Office.
• Professionalism, discretion, and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for exempt and non-exempt positions, from intake and sourcing through interviews, selection, and offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, team needs, and hiring priorities.
• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, employee referrals, networking, career fairs, and community outreach.
• Screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, coordinate interview processes, and provide well-supported hiring recommendations.
• Represent Bank of Ann Arbor’s mission, culture, and commitment to community throughout the candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking records and coordinate background checks, reference checks, pre-employment screenings, onboarding, and new-hire orientation support.
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, EEO requirements, and fair hiring standards.
• Monitor time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline health; recommend improvements to recruiting processes, tools, and candidate engagement.

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Recruiting experience in banking or another regulated industry.
• SHRM or HRCI certification.
• Experience with community-based recruiting and employer branding.
