Position Overview:
The Corporate Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for the office and play an important role in creating a polished, welcoming experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate has prior corporate front desk experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact confidently with senior executives and high-profile clientele.
Responsibilities of the Corporate Receptionist:
- Greet executives, clients, investors, vendors, and visitors in a polished and professional manner.
- Manage the front desk and maintain a welcoming reception area.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming calls.
- Manage visitor registration and notify employees of guest arrivals.
- Coordinate conference room calendars and meeting reservations.
- Prepare conference rooms for meetings and ensure rooms are reset afterward.
- Assist with catering, refreshments, and meeting logistics.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain office and conference room supplies.
- Provide general administrative and office support as needed.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless daily office operations.
Required Experience/Skills for the Corporate Receptionist:
- Previous corporate receptionist/front desk experience required.
- Experience within a professional corporate office environment.
- Polished and professional presentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Comfortable interacting with senior executives and high-profile guests.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and proactive.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Corporate Receptionist:
- Previous experience within private equity, investment management, financial services, banking, or another professional services environment.
- Experience supporting conference rooms, executive meetings, and office operations.
- Corporate hospitality or high-touch client service experience.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
