Job Description
- Assist with employment, lease, vendor and other day-to-day practice operational matters.
- Administer and maintain operational databases including leases, legal and medical board claims for all worldwide subsidiaries for real-time availability of accurate and current corporate data and documents
- Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and submit reports on pertinent changes
- Assist with obtaining certified documents from Secretaries of State
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, and other documents
- Assist in the preparation of operational legal documents
- Organize and manage transactional closing processes and documentation
- Liaise with internal executives and staff at all levels
- Liaise with practice staff
- Provide administrative support to General Counsel and other attorneys in the legal department
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Previous corporate, operational paralegal experience. Healthcare experience is a plus.
- Ability to deliver clear, concise, and accurate messages to others verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish priorities and objectives.
- Initiative to be able to take independent actions within a scope of authority and ask for, and offer, help when needed.
- Hard working, resourceful, and well-organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of matters.
- Positive attitude and commitment to professionalism is required.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Strong ability to conduct and summarize legal research.
- Proficient computer and internet skills, with an ability to quickly learn new functions and applications.

Experience:
- 2+ years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal with some law firm experience (Required)
- 3+ years of experience in research & writing (Required)
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (Required).
