Job Description

Join the legal team as an Early Career Trial Attorney, handling bodily injury, property damage lawsuits, and more. You will manage cases, participate in trials, arbitrations, and mediations, and provide legal counsel to business clients. Stay updated on laws and regulations to keep strategies effective. Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation from start to finish.
  2. Organize documents, evidence, and legal research for cases.
  3. Conduct legal research and prepare summaries and reports.
  4. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal documents.
  5. Interview clients and witnesses, and maintain communication records.
  6. Attend legal proceedings and represent the company in routine matters.
  7. Monitor legal changes and update the team accordingly.
  8. Participate in training and mentorship programs.
Education and Minimum Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate and active membership with the Georgia State Bar.
  • Experience in legal research, writing, and analysis.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and ethical standards.
  • Basic negotiation skills.
  • Must be within commuting distance to Atlanta courthouses.

Additional Information

Salary range: $66,800 - $120,650 annually, based on experience.
