A growing and well-established law firm is seeking a highly organized Corporate Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to attorneys in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of $85,000–$110,000 and is ideal for a proactive legal professional who enjoys taking ownership of a diverse workload and serving as a reliable resource to a busy legal team. The successful candidate will provide a combination of administrative and legal support, helping attorneys remain organized while assisting with client matters and the day-to-day needs of the practice. Responsibilities of the Corporate Legal Assistant:
- Provide ongoing administrative support to attorneys, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and other day-to-day scheduling needs.
- Assist with the preparation, organization, and proofreading of legal documents and materials associated with a variety of corporate and business matters.
- Support attorneys throughout the lifecycle of client matters by helping coordinate documentation, maintaining organized files, and assisting with administrative and legal processes.
- Assist with corporate recordkeeping and entity-related matters, including maintaining documentation and coordinating required filings and updates.
- Help manage client and matter administration, including opening and closing matters, preparing related documentation, assisting with preliminary conflict reviews, and supporting billing processes.
- Track assignments, deadlines, and priorities while coordinating with internal teams and using firm systems to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and colleagues while maintaining discretion and confidentiality and providing additional support to the broader legal team as needed.
Qualifications of the Corporate Legal Assistant:
- High School Diploma and at least three years of experience providing legal support in a corporate or business law environment.
- Previous experience supporting attorneys in a professional legal setting, preferably with exposure to corporate or transactional matters.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, polished work while handling sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and service-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as PDF software; familiarity with legal technology and document management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively, take initiative, adapt to changing priorities, and provide dependable support in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work additional hours when needed.
