Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking an Environmental Manager for a heavy industrial manufacturing company located about 30 minutes north of downtown Nashville, TN. This is an individual contributor role supporting 1,000 employees at three production sites in KY, TN and MO.

You will require proven Title V Part 70 operating permit experience to lead regulatory compliance, develop environmental systems, and partner with plant EHS Generalists under the Corporate EHS Director.

Qualifications

• Must have Title V Part 70 operating permit experience, including permitting and reporting.
• Strong regulatory compliance knowledge across multiple sites.
• Experience developing and improving environmental management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory compliance at three production sites (KY, TN, MO).
• Lead ongoing development of environmental management systems and programs.
• Collaborate with plant EHS Generalists and Corporate EHS Director to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Absolutely must have technical expertise managing major air source Title V part 70 operating permit experience (permitting and reporting).

Scope of role:

Seeking an Environmental Manager (individual contributor position with no direct reports) for a heavy industrial manufacturing company (welding, blasting and painting operations) that will support (1000) employees at (3) production sites (KY, TN and MO). Travel requirements 40-50% when needed. Oversee regulatory compliance throughout the facilities and responsible for leading the continuing development of their environmental systems.

This position will report into the Corporate EHS Director, and each facility has an EHS professional (more safety focused) that will manage their day-to-day environmental compliance needs. This Environmental Manager will work closely with these plant level, EHS Generalists.
