Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead regulatory compliance for a heavy industrial manufacturing operation located about 30 minutes north of downtown Nashville, TN. The role is an individual contributor position with no direct reports and requires substantial Title V permitting and reporting expertise.

The successful candidate will coordinate with plant EHS Generalists across three sites in KY, TN, and MO, and will report to the Corporate EHS Director.

Qualifications

• Must have Title V major air source permit experience (permitting and reporting).
• Strong regulatory compliance knowledge across multiple facilities.
• Experience developing and maintaining environmental management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory compliance at three production sites (KY, TN, MO).
• Lead development of environmental systems and reporting.
• Collaborate with plant EHS Generalists to ensure day-to-day compliance.
• Travel 40-50% to support sites as needed.

Absolutely must have technical expertise managing major air source Title V part 70 operating permit experience (permitting and reporting).

Scope of role:

Seeking an Environmental Manager (individual contributor position with no direct reports) for a heavy industrial manufacturing company (welding, blasting and painting operations) that will support (1000) employees at (3) production sites (KY, TN and MO). Travel requirements 40-50% when needed. Oversee regulatory compliance throughout the facilities and responsible for leading the continuing development of their environmental systems.

This position will report into the Corporate EHS Director, and each facility has an EHS professional (more safety focused) that will manage their day-to-day environmental compliance needs. This Environmental Manager will work closely with these plant level, EHS Generalists.
