Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking an Environmental Manager near Nashville, TN, to manage regulatory compliance for three production sites in KY, TN, and MO. This role requires strong Title V Part 70 operating permit experience and hands-on environmental systems development.

The position functions as an individual contributor reporting to the Corporate EHS Director, working with plant EHS Generalists who handle day-to-day compliance. Travel is anticipated at 40-50% to support facilities as needed.

Absolutely must have technical expertise managing major air source Title V part 70 operating permit experience (permitting and reporting).

Scope of role:

Seeking an Environmental Manager (individual contributor position with no direct reports) for a heavy industrial manufacturing company (welding, blasting and painting operations) that will support (1000) employees at (3) production sites (KY, TN and MO). Travel requirements 40-50% when needed. Oversee regulatory compliance throughout the facilities and responsible for leading the continuing development of their environmental systems.

This position will report into the Corporate EHS Director, and each facility has an EHS professional (more safety focused) that will manage their day-to-day environmental compliance needs. This Environmental Manager will work closely with these plant level, EHS Generalists.
