HF Sinclair is seeking a Corporate Development Associate in Dallas, TX, responsible for conducting advanced financial analysis to develop, evaluate, and formulate business growth strategies, assessing the company’s performance using broad-based financial analysis and asset rationalization.

Job Duties

1. Develop and maintain detailed financial models for economic evaluation of strategic opportunities.
2. Maintain corporate models to include accretion/dilution analysis for various capital structures.
3. Create PowerPoint presentations for projects to be presented to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
4. Identify strategic opportunities, including acquisitions, divestitures, growth projects, and partnerships.
5. Participate in managing M&A transaction evaluations, including bid strategy, information exchange, and stakeholder meetings.
6. Review and assist in negotiating legal contracts related to strategic opportunities.
7. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support organizational initiatives.
8. Establish and maintain relationships internally and with industry participants.

Experience & Education

• Minimum three years of experience in complex financial modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.

• Advanced understanding of financial risk and mitigation.
