Job description

Basic Function

HF Sinclair is seeking a Corporate Development Associate in Dallas, TX, responsible for conducting advanced and complex analysis to develop, evaluate, and formulate business growth strategies. The role involves assessing the company's short- and long-term performance using broad-based financial analysis and asset rationalization.

Job Duties
  1. Develop and maintain detailed financial models for economic evaluation of strategic opportunities.
  2. Maintain corporate models to incorporate accretion/dilution analysis for various capital structures.
  3. Create PowerPoint presentations for project proposals to Senior Management and Board of Directors.
  4. Assist in identifying strategic opportunities, including acquisitions, divestitures, growth projects, and partnerships.
  5. Participate in managing M&A transaction evaluation processes, including bid strategy, information exchange, and stakeholder coordination.
  6. Review and assist in negotiating legal contracts related to strategic opportunities.
  7. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support organizational initiatives.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships internally and with industry participants.
Experience

Minimum three years of experience in complex financial modeling.

Education Level

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required; a Master's in Business Administration is preferred.

Work Conditions
  • Office based in Dallas, Texas.
  • Up to 10% travel by land and air.
  • Sitting, standing, talking, hearing, visual inspections, color perception, precise hand movements, reaching, grasping, and operating company vehicles.
