SK hynix America is seeking an experienced mid-level attorney to serve as legal counsel for its U.S. semiconductor operations. The role covers commercial, dispute, and regulatory work and requires clear communication with procurement, R&D, and sales teams.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate complex contracts, ensure compliance with U.S. regulations, and collaborate with parent and affiliate legal teams on cross-border governance. Onsite work in the San Jose area is expected.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from a top-tier U.S. law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-bar experience handling commercial transactions or related work.
• Proven track record drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, and resolving disputes arising therefrom (R&D and sales).

Responsabilités

• Work across complex legal, business and strategic issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate high-stakes commercial agreements including joint R&D, IP licensing, procurement, sales and partnerships.
• Provide legal advice to engineering, sales, finance, HR and operations teams and participate in cross-functional decisions.
• Analyze legal claims, identify risks, and deliver strategic recommendations to management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant U.S. regulations affecting semiconductor operations.
• Design and optimize legal processes, templates and guidance for rapid yet risk-aware operations.
• Collaborate with parent company and U.S. affiliates on cross-border transactions and governance.
