Altera Semiconductor seeks a practical Corporate Counsel to join its Corporate Legal team in San Jose. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Legal, this attorney will support governance, securities and disclosure, equity, talent, investor-relations, and strategic corporate matters.

You will work with senior leaders and internal stakeholders to drive critical business objectives. The role requires a J.D.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active California bar eligibility.
• 5+ years of corporate legal experience at a leading firm or in-house.
• Experience with SEC reporting, disclosures, and governance matters.

Responsibilities

• Support board and committee processes, minutes, consents, and governance records.
• Lead or assist with SEC filings, proxy materials, and Section 16 filings.
• Partner with Finance, Investor Relations, and Communications on external disclosures.
• Support equity plans and executive compensation matters.
