Jobot is seeking a dynamic Corporate Controller for our construction-focused team in Louisville, KY. The role oversees all financial aspects of the organization, driving budgeting, forecasting, and cash management to sustain growth and profitability.

The candidate will lead WIP accounting, internal audits, and policy development, collaborating with executives to shape strategic decisions and ensure compliance. Advanced Excel skills and experience with Acumatica are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; advanced degree or certification preferred.
• 10+ years in a senior financial management role, preferably in construction.
• Experience with Acumatica is a plus.
• Strong financial and business acumen with a strategic mindset.
• Experience in financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Excellent communication with non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Corporate Controller to join our thriving construction company. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the strategic decision-making process, providing financial insight and direction to support the company's growth and profitability. This position will oversee all financial aspects of our organization, ensuring financial stability and profitability.

Responsibilities

• 1. Overseeing the financial strategy and operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management.
• 2. Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, records, and reporting systems.
• 3. Managing cash flow and liquidity of the company, including cash management strategies and initiatives.
• 4. Overseeing the Work in Progress (WIP) accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• 5. Conduct internal audits across multiple subsidiaries in the organization.
• 6. Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• 7. Providing financial analysis and recommendations to the senior management team to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• 1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA, CMA, or CFA) is highly desirable.
• 2. A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably with experience in the construction industry.
• 3. Proven experience Acumatica will be a plus.
• 4. Strong financial and business acumen, with a strategic mindset and ability to make sound financial decisions.
• 5. Experience in financial reporting across multiple entities.
• 6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• 7. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
