Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Corporate Controller for our Franklin, TN-based construction services client to lead all financial operations and reporting. The successful candidate will drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and compliance across multiple entities, ensuring profitability and stakeholder confidence.

We require a CPA/CMA/CFA or master's preferred, 10+ years of senior finance leadership, and strong Acumatica and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master or CPA/CMA/CFA desirable.
• 10+ years of senior financial management experience, preferably in construction.
• Experience with Acumatica is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial strategy and operations, including budgeting, forecasting and risk management.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data, records and reporting systems.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity, including cash management strategies.
• Oversee WIP accounting and reporting for multiple subsidiaries.
• Conduct internal audits across the organization.
• Develop and implement financial policies to ensure compliance with regulations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Corporate Controller to join our thriving construction company. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the strategic decision-making process, providing financial insight and direction to support the company's growth and profitability. This position will oversee all financial aspects of our organization, ensuring financial stability and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the financial strategy and operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management.
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, records, and reporting systems.
• Managing cash flow and liquidity of the company, including cash management strategies and initiatives.
• Overseeing the Work in Progress (WIP) accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct internal audits across multiple subsidiaries in the organization.
• Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Providing financial analysis and recommendations to the senior management team to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA, CMA, or CFA) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably with experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience Acumatica will be a plus.
• Strong financial and business acumen, with a strategic mindset and ability to make sound financial decisions.
• Experience in financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
