Financial Additions is seeking a Controller to join its expanding finance and accounting team. This role offers the chance to build out accounting processes, strengthen financial reporting, and support growth through acquisitions in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting background with some industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in private equity‑backed or multi‑entity environment highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and maintain accurate financial records.
• Develop and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.
• Partner with finance leadership to analyze financial results and operational performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Assist with acquisition integrations, including financial reporting, systems, and process alignment.
• Coordinate with internal teams on AP, AR, treasury, and other accounting functions.
• Support external audits and special projects.
• Help build and develop the accounting team as the organization grows.
