Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions client, a rapidly growing private equity-backed services company, seeks a hands-on Controller to partner directly with the CFO and help scale the accounting and finance function during a period of growth and transformation.

This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, technical accounting, operational accounting, process improvement, systems implementation, and M&A integration.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting leadership experience within a multi-entity environment.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience supporting audits, lender reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to ERP implementations (NetSuite) and systems optimization projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple entities.
• Oversee consolidated financial reporting, board reporting, lender reporting, and audit activities.
• Manage technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, purchase accounting, intercompany transactions, and complex accounting issues.
• Partner with leadership on acquisition integration efforts and accounting due diligence.
• Drive ERP implementation and process automation initiatives to improve efficiency and controls.
• Oversee AP, AR, billing, collections, payroll coordination, treasury, and cash management activities.
• Establish scalable accounting policies, reporting standards, and internal controls.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, IT, and executive leadership to improve financial visibility and decision-making.

This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, technical accounting, operational accounting, process improvement, systems implementation, and M&A integration. The Controller will play a key leadership role in building scalable processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, supporting acquisition activity, and driving finance transformation initiatives.
