Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking talented college students for its Summer Internship Program in Corporate Communications. This 10-week, full-time internship offers exposure to internal and external communications, media outreach, and social media initiatives.

You'll work with a cross-functional team on meaningful projects, receive mentorship, and contribute fresh ideas to enhance our storytelling and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or advanced degree program.
• Marketing or Communications majors preferred.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Ability to commit to a full-time 10-week internship.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written communication, editing, and proofreading; familiarity with major social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube).

Responsibilities

• Support the corporate communications team for internal and external projects.
• Support corporate social media initiatives through audits, analyses, planning, and reporting.
• Assist in developing internal and external communications materials (press releases, media pitches, thought leadership content, events, community initiatives).
• Contribute creative ideas and storytelling concepts to elevate the company’s communications and social presence.
• Research industry and marketplace trends and present recommendations for strategies.
