Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking exceptional college students for its Summer Internship Program in HR. This 10-week program (June – mid August) offers meaningful projects, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration in compensation, talent acquisition, and more.

You will gain hands-on experience, participate in development workshops, and deliver a final presentation to management highlighting your contributions over the summer.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Ability to commit to a full time 10-week internship program.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of support to HR Centers of Excellence (compensation, talent acquisition, talent management, benefits, and shared services).
• Contribute to strategy for continuously improving the employee experience.
• Participate in projects that involve analytical and problem-solving activities.
• Gain foundational knowledge and exposure across HR Centers of Excellence and HR Shared Services.
• Create and present a final presentation for management highlighting work accomplished.
