Job summary

Marketplace Ministries seeks chaplains to fulfill the mission and ministry by serving employees and their families at client sites. You will visit worksites weekly, offer confidential pastoral care, and coordinate support for grief, bereavement, and life challenges with sensitivity and discretion.

Role requires spiritual maturity, strong communication, and ability to engage with diverse groups while representing the company with professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interfaith setting and respect diverse cultures.

• Ability to document accurately according to standards.
• Proficiency with Google Suites or Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Make regular visits to company worksites (usually weekly) to interact with employees and build trust.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for personal and family issues.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and grief support for employees.
• Notify families of death or serious injuries, offering support.
• Provide post-termination care to ease transitions.
• Distribute literature and resources to employees as appropriate.
