Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains seeks qualified chaplains to provide spiritual care to employees and their families across client worksites in a remote capacity. You will visit sites weekly, offer confidential counseling, and support employees facing personal challenges with discretion and compassion.

The role requires interfaith sensitivity, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with employers and clergy to deliver crisis support, funerals, and ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interfaith setting and respect diverse beliefs.
• Excellent listening and communication with clients, employees, and families.
• Spiritual maturity and commitment to Christian ministry.
• Diplomatic, patient, and courteous with diverse groups.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to document accurately.
• Proficient with technology and able to learn new programs.
• Must have active state driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as messenger of faith and mission to employees.
• Visit worksites weekly to build trust and relationships.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals for employees or family members.
• Support post-termination care for displaced employees.
• Provide resources and literature as appropriate.
• Participate in new employee orientation.
