Job summary

PruittHealth seeks a Corporate Building and Maintenance Engineer to oversee the technical operation, maintenance, and reliability of MEP and life-safety systems across corporate properties. You will monitor BAS, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and lead high-impact repairs to maintain Class A building standards.

As the primary technical resource, you will coordinate contractors, support system upgrades, and participate in long‑term asset planning for multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–7 years of corporate building maintenance or engineering experience.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience with BAS systems and complex HVAC operations.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Technical training in building systems or engineering technology (preferred).
• Experience managing contractors and capital projects (preferred).
• Familiarity with maintenance platforms and automated scheduling (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate, diagnose, and maintain HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and related controls.
• Inspect and maintain electrical distribution equipment including switchgear, panels, breakers, ATS systems, and generators.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to ensure system reliability.
• Maintain BAS functionality through trend review, setpoint optimization, and alarm response.
• Coordinate contractors and support capital projects.
• Assist in budget planning and recommend cost‑effective maintenance solutions.
