Job summary

Endeavor Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced Building Engineer I to join our on-site team. You will oversee preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems while coordinating with vendors and the property manager.

You will monitor building automation, respond to emergencies, and assist with plan reviews for capital projects, ensuring safety, reliability, and high standards for our commercial properties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years building engineering or closely related field with some project supervision experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CFC Universal License (or within 90 days of employment).
• Be able to rapidly respond to emergency situations at the building during non-business hours.
• Working knowledge of work order systems (Angus experience preferred), Paycom.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Teams and SharePoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform or oversee preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Oversee inspections, identify issues, and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Maintain familiarity with building codes and safety requirements.
• Review construction drawings and assist plan reviews for capital projects.
• Update as-built drawings and manage plan library documentation.
• Inspect interior/exterior areas, open work orders, and coordinate painting or carpentry work.
• Monitor BAS building automation for temperature and scheduling adjustments.
• Lead or assist in safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Respond to emergencies during off-hours and ensure rapid remediation.
