Job summary

Ball HealthCare Services, Inc. is hiring a Corporate Accounts Receivable/SNF Biller for our Mobile, AL office.

The role handles billing for all payer sources, including private, Medicare A & B, Medicaid, Hospice, HMO and insurance claims, in a fast-paced SNF environment. Responsibilities include filing claims electronically, posting remittances, verifying eligibility, resolving billing issues and communicating with facilities daily to answer questions.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented and have good follow through and communication skills.
• Must have at least 2-years experience in medical billing, accounting, A/R, bookkeeping or related education and training.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and electronically file all Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and Insurance claims.
• Post remittance advices and cash receipts for all payer types.
• Verify eligibility and maintain all documentation necessary to support medical claims.
• Research and correct billing issues.
• Communicate on a daily basis with your assigned facilities and answer all billing questions as needed.
• Analyze the accounts receivable reports and exercise good judgment on working any problem claims.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

We are currently seeking a Skilled Nursing Facility Accounts Receivable/Biller for our Corporate office in Mobile, AL. The candidate must be detailed oriented and have good follow through and communication skills. The SNF Biller is responsible for billing functions for all payer sources such as private, Medicare A, Medicare B. Medicaid, Hospice, HMO and insurance claims.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares and electronically file all Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and Insurance claims
• Post remittance advises and cash receipts for all payer types
• Verify eligibility and maintain all documentation necessary to support medical claims
