Job summary

Bank of Hope in Los Angeles, CA seeks an Associate to support its Corporate Institutional Banking team. You will underwrite loan requests, including cash-flow facilities, term loans, and revolvers, and monitor borrower performance.

You will perform financial analysis, credit reviews, and KYC/AML due diligence, and collaborate with Loan Ops on deal closing. Strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 5+ years of corporate banking or credit underwriting experience.
• Strong financial modeling and cash flow analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite loan requests including cash-flow facilities, term loans, and revolvers.
• Monitor borrower financial performance and perform quarterly credit reviews.
• Complete KYC/AML/OFAC due diligence for new clients.
• Coordinate with Loan Ops on deal closing and booking.
• Maintain loan documentation and covenants over the life of the facility.
