Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of AP experience in a corporate setting, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or accounts payable, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and accurately process vendor invoices, matching to purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Code invoices with appropriate accounting information.
• Reconcile vendor statements monthly.
• Identify taxable and non-taxable invoices.
• Maintain organized documentation and audit trails for all payments.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance accounts payable accuracy and efficiency.
• Generate accounts payable reports and ad hoc financial analyses.
