Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the AP function in our Texas offices. This role handles processing vendor invoices, matching to purchase orders and receiving documents, coding entries, and reconciling statements to ensure timely and accurate payments.

You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, support month-end close, and help drive process improvements for AP efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or accounts payable.
• Experience in corporate or professional services environment preferred.
• Credit check required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and process vendor invoices, matching to POs and receiving documents.
• Code invoices with appropriate accounting information.
• Reconcile vendor statements monthly.
• Identify taxable and non-taxable invoices.
• Maintain audit trails for all payment transactions.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance AP accuracy and efficiency.
• Generate accounts payable reports and ad hoc analyses.
