Job summary

Chestnut Hill Realty is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join our award-winning property management group in MA. You will manage month-end close, prepare financial statements, and oversee intercompany transactions across corporate and property entities.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and clear communication as you handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and reporting while contributing to process improvements and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or comparable experience.
• Two years of practical accounting experience required.
• Experience in Property Management or multi-entity corporations preferred.
• Excellent communication, administrative and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close for corporate entities.
• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions between corporate and property-level entities.
• Manage accounting for corporate credit cards and employee expense reimbursements.
• Review and process corporate accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure bank reconciliations are prepared and reviewed on a monthly basis.
• Assist with Corporate–Property level allocations.
• Preparation of accounting reports.
