Job summary

Brookwood Financial Partners, LLC, a Massachusetts-based private equity real estate investment firm, is seeking a Corporate Accountant to maintain several corporate entities' books and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.

You will handle general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable, journal entries, and intercompany activity, collaborating with the Accounting and Finance team to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• Approximately 2–5 years accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and analysis.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity environments.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems; CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger for multiple entities and perform monthly closes.
• Process accounts payable and ensure proper approvals and coding.
• Conduct account analysis and support management reporting.
• Record and reconcile corporate cash activity and other accounts.
• Prepare schedules for external auditors and assist with internal controls.
• Collaborate across Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Legal.
