Job summary

Atlantic Group in Chestnut Hill, MA is seeking a Property Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role collaborates across departments to manage general ledger, billing, budgeting, and financial statements, supporting lease compliance and property operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 1–3 years of GL and financial statement experience, and proficiency with MRI, AvidXchange, Anaplan, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1–3 years of general ledger and financial statement preparation experience in a similar environment
• Experience with MRI, AvidXchange, and Anaplan is highly desirable
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
• Ability to quickly learn and master new software applications

Responsibilities

• Monthly general ledger maintenance (GAAP and tax basis)
• Tenant billings, including utilities, percentage rent, CAM, and real estate taxes
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Financial statement preparation
• Assistance with annual audits
• Oversight of tax return preparation
