Job summary

Peak Parking, part of Smart Parking's U.S. operation, seeks an experienced Corporate Accountant to support growing U.S. operations. The role includes corporate financial reporting, audits, and integration of newly acquired businesses in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable evolving processes as the company expands. Primary duties involve working with leadership to maintain accurate records and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• Three+ years of corporate or operational accounting experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP understanding and experience with financial reporting and close processes.
• Audit support or acquisitions integration experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Support preparation of financial statements and internal management reports
• Coordinate audit requests and provide documentation
• Assist with financial integration of acquired companies
• Transition accounting functions and standardize procedures
• Review financial activity for accuracy and proper classification
• Collaborate with departments and leadership on financial analysis
