Glocap Search Biotechnology seeks a Corporate Accountant to support general ledger, revenue, and financial reporting activities. The role offers exposure to cross-functional partners across Accounting, Finance, and other areas of the business.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and have 1–3 years of accounting experience, with CPA licensure in progress preferred. Strong GAAP understanding and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of accounting activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Support revenue and receivables accounting, including analysis of sales, deductions, accruals, and related balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
• Partner with Finance and other internal teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of accruals, reclasses, and other accounting entries
• Analyze financial results, investigate period-over-period fluctuations, and prepare variance explanations for management
• Support ERP system implementation, optimization, testing, and process improvement initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes through automation, technology, and data analytics
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable financial reporting requirements
• Support SOX compliance activities, including documentation and control execution
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Participate in special projects, financial analyses, and other continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting, audit, general ledger, or corporate accounting experience
• Public accounting and/or experience within a large or complex organization is a plus
• CPA or active pursuit of CPA licensure required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate financial data and draw sound conclusions
