Job summary

Xplora Search Group is seeking a Staff Accountant for its corporate accounting team in Wayne, PA. The role offers exposure to financial reporting, consolidations, technical accounting, and international operations.

The candidate will support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, account reconciliations, intercompany activities, and foreign currency reporting, collaborating with regional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CPA or progress toward the CPA is a plus.
• Experience with SAP, HFM, or other large-scale ERP/reporting systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and review of consolidated financial information during monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and balance sheet activity.
• Assist with corporate reporting and analysis used in external financial reporting.
• Support accounting for intercompany activity, investments, equity, fixed assets, goodwill, and other corporate accounts.
• Assist with foreign currency reporting and related accounting processes.
• Partner with accounting teams across different regions to research and resolve reporting discrepancies.
• Assist with technical accounting projects, process improvements, and development of accounting procedures.
• Prepare supporting documentation and respond to requests from internal and external auditors.
• Contribute to various corporate accounting projects and initiatives as needed.
