Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a lab science with required certifications.
• 5 years clinical or anatomical laboratory experience, with 1 year in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of QC, proficiency testing, statistics, and data analysis.
• Interpersonal and communication skills for participative leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversees laboratory staff including hiring, transfers, salary changes, and discipline.
• Coordinates scheduling and cross-campus coverage for all lab locations.
• Ensures compliance with CAP, Joint Commission, and safety policies and procedures.
• Develops training plans for new equipment and assays and validates new procedures.
